Who are Partners for Inclusion?Partners for Inclusion (PFI) is a Sheffield partnership for people with physical, sensory or cognitive impairment . Members of the partnership are Sheffield CIL (SCIL), Sheffield City Council, NHS Sheffield, Sheffield First, Voluntary Action Sheffield, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust and disabled community representatives in Sheffield. We work in partnership with health and social service providers to promote service improvements. PFI is administered by Sheffield CIL and we are a sub-board of the Sheffield First for Health and Well-being Board. This makes us part of the Sheffield First family Our VisionWe are determined to make Sheffield a place where people with physical, sensory and cognitive impairments are equally valued, can access excellent services and have full citizenship rights. Community RepresentativesWould you like to help influence and improve service planning in the City? PfI are looking for new community reps who can work as part of PfI's core executive group and commit to working towards PfI's objectives by: • Contributing to the successful delivery of Sheffield's priorities by challenging, monitoring and scrutinizing relevant services to drive up the performance. • Promoting the wider use of a social approach to disability and encourage all individuals and organisations to put this approach into practice in their daily activities. • Supporting disabled people to have their voices heard • Working in partnership with the Sheffield First family and other strategic partnerships in the City Please download the leaflet for more information or contact Emily Morton PfI development worker Tel: 0114 2536750 Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
