 In addition to his role as SCIL Chair, Tim is also a Trustee of Voluntary Action Sheffield and has a lead interest in Health, Housing and Social Care. He is a Partner Governor on the Sheffield Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust and a member of the Sheffield Health Compact Steering Group. Tim was previously employed as Chief Executive of Cavendish Cancer Care but left in 2008 to develop his own consultancy business. Before moving to Cavendish Cancer Care he worked in the NHS for more than 20 years and was Chief Executive of Sheffield South West Primary Care Group. Earlier in his career he spent a number of years working in social services departments around the country, as a research and planning manager.
