From this April more people will have an independent assessment when they apply for a blue badge. Other significant changes to the scheme recently include an increase in the fee for a 3 year permit to £10 and a change in the design of the badges which are now being issued by a nationally operated service and will be sent to your home address. Customer services at Sheffield City Council still authorise the applications and you can apply or renew a badge online. |
