| The UK’s leading health management journal named NHS Sheffield fourth in its national commissioning league table. The Health Service Journal compared 151 primary care trusts in the country against national world class commissioning criteria as well as how well they had performed managing money, strategy and Board arrangements. The scores measure progress towards achieving better health outcomes for their populations .Sheffield’s results are an improvement on its HSJ ranking of 28th last year. A further table, which uses a different calculation method giving all components of the assurance process equal weight, puts Sheffield second.
