Recognised Provider List Application

The Recognised Provider List (RPL) is a tool set up, monitored and updated by Sheffield City Council. It will allow adults in Sheffield who are looking for packages of care and support to choose from a list of providers who adhere to a clear quality framework. Providers on the RPL will be those who deliver care and support services to older people, learning or physically disabled adults, adults with a sensory impairment, mental health service users, carers and to any other adults in Sheffield as appropriate. The RPL aims to ensure that customers receive good quality services from providers. In order to gain Recognised Provider status and the quality mark, providers must meet quality standards. The deadline for applications for adult care and support providers wishing to be included in the first version of the RPL is 5pm on Friday 14 October 2011. This first version will be launched in early 2012.
