Sheffield Centre For Independent Living

Sheffield City Council have been carrying out a Fairer Contributions Consultation looking at proposals to the changes in the way it works out contributions towards the cost of social care support (non-residential). As part of this consultation SCIL and Partners for Inclusion organised a meeting to give people an opportunity to find out what it would mean for them and to voice their opinions.  A write up of the meeting has been produced in the attached report which includes the comments and concerns raised, alongside the responses from council officers. This write up will be included in the full public consultation report on fairer contributions.
