A new freephone telephone helpline number for victims of domestic abuse is now available on 0808 808 2241 from Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm, extended till 7pm on Wednesdays. A Punjabi, Urdu/Mirpiru speaker is available Wednesdays 10am - 1pm.Calls are free from landlines and most mobiles (Orange, Virgin mobile, 02, T Mobile, Vodafone) and calls will not appear on itemised bills. .Alternatively you can e mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The helpline is a single city-wide number for people who are experiencing domestic abuse, recovering from domestic abuse and need support, worried about family members or friends and want to find out more, professionals, who want information to support their clients.
