| Update on Sheffield City Council’s Framework Agreement |
| The Council is expanding purchasing arrangements with providers of adult social care by introducing a new Framework Agreement. As they implement self directed support across Sheffield, they want to ensure a more flexible approach from providers that encourages innovation in the delivery of support to people. The Agreement will be used when purchasing most adult social care services commissioned by the Council. A Quality Assurance Framework will be used in conjunction with the Agreement.Providers meeting the requirements of the Agreement can select to be added to the Recognised Provider List, so that people can purchase their own support directly from providers, knowing they have reached certain standards.
