| Single Equality Scheme Consultation Event |
|
Sheffield City Council is consulting on its draft Single Equality Scheme which sets out what the Council will do to fulfil its legal duties and includes the newly recognised areas of equality within the Equality Bill 2009. You are invited to take part in a consultation event in the Town Hall Reception Rooms on Monday 15th March from 9.30am to 4pm. The purpose of the day is to ensure that you can provide your feedback on the draft scheme and contribute any additional points you feel are missing. The event will be interactive and discussion focused. The Council is also interested to hear about what you would like to see prioritised and how you can assist the delivery of these priorities over the next three years. For your information and preparation please find the link to the Draft Single Equality Scheme on the Council's website. You will also see there is an opportunity to provide your feedback on line, via the consultation feedback form. If you are interested in attending the event please contact Charles Bailey by phone on 0114 273 5861, by email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
