Dan Waddington, Programme and Development Manager at Concord Sports Centre and Hillsborough Leisure Centre is looking into the possibility of creating a multi sensory room at Concord Sports Centre. Time spent in a multi-sensory room has been shown to increase spatial awareness, concentration, relaxation and alertness for people who have autism or severe communication difficultiesDan is looking to include as many different groups who feel they could benefit from using such a room in the development of the facility .
