Don’t Cut Us Out’ Campaign |
|
Scope and DIAL UK believe that the reality of the Coalition Government’s spending plans is that many public services and benefits that disabled people and their families use, and rely on, may be cut. They believe that the Coalition Government’s proposed changes to employment benefits and Disability Living Allowance (DLA) will see many disabled people losing the support they need to participate in society, access employment or live independently. Scope’s ‘Don’t Cut Us Out’ campaign is raising awareness of how disabled people could be affected by the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review. The campaign is asking disabled people to contact their local MP quickly and easily online to make their voices heard and make sure their local MP is fighting their corner in Westminster.
