How to Support SCIL

Since 2003 a number of agencies and organisations have supported us. Sheffield CIL is in a unique position as a user led disabled people’s organisation in Sheffield and we are looking to the future at new and creative ways of offering support to disabled people in Sheffield , particularly around the transformation of social care.

We are very grateful for the financial support we have received to enable us to develop as an organisation and form strong partnerships across the city and with other organisations in the Disabled People’s movement regionally and nationally.

In 2008-09 the following organisations supported SCIL:

  • Sheffield City Council
  • NHS Sheffield
  • Reaching Communities Big Lottery
  • Westfield Health, Sheffield Town Trust
  • Dorothy Dixon Barrow
  • South Yorkshire Community Foundation
  • Sheffield City Council Small Grants

Your support as a member of Sheffield CIL is very valuable to us. Thank you.

You may wish to become a member or take part in one of the many consultation events managed by SCIL and strengthen the voice of disabled people in Sheffield, so if you haven't already, we please ask that you consider our free SCIL Membership

Or, if you're just looking for an opportunity to help out, Volunteering with SCIL could be for you!

A big thank you to all our volunteers and members. Your support is much appreciated.
